The insight about reframing "I'm so jealous" into what you actually mean: yes. From my own experience growing up, I learned to constantly reframe what I did and said for the benefit of the people around to me, which for years I didn't recognize as an issue, until I left that environment and I suddenly could not communicate, least of all what I wanted. What do you want? is a huge terrain for some of us—let alone saying it!
I was jealous of a chum who was in Ireland on a 3 month cookery course. I went to visit and she was so incredibly happy and I realised it would be way too intense for me. Not jealous now, just happy for her x
